When Peter & Whitney photograph weddings you get two slightly different vantage points, and that’s why I wanted to share this photograph of Peter’s.

This image comes from the rainy day wedding of Christal & Michael. The setting of this shoot is subtle yet beautifully sublime, and Peter really did a fantastic job capturing the natural essence of the subject and surroundings. Another one of my favorite photos.

Being that I’m the new studio & marketing manager for Dove Wedding Photography, I spend a lot of my time going through Whitney’s portfolio. I’m looking for submission materials, blog images, and samples for brides. When I say I see a lot of photographs in a day, I’m not lying…I see A LOT.

But that’s o.k., because Whitney is pretty much awesome and her work never ceases to amaze me. I was digging through her portfolio looking for a bridal image to submit to a blog and got slapped dead-in-the-face with one of Whitney’s photographs.

This photograph is easily on the most beautiful images I’ve ever seen. It almost looks like a High-Renaissance era oil painting. I seriously had to do a double take! But I loved it so much I just had to share it…enjoy!
