What a better way to “rev the engines” of our new blog than show you a motorcycle rally!
A little while ago, Whitney and I received a call from the American Motorcycle Association. They said they really liked our work and wanted us to take some photos for their upcoming magazine publication. They were covering a charity event put on by country artist and motocross racer, Craig Morgan.
What do weddings and motocross events have in common? We were surprised once we realized the similarities. Below, you will see what happens when you put Whitney and I behind the cameras at a muddy, wet, dirt bike ride. You will be surprised that we were still able to capture joy and beauty in a location where we initially felt very out of place. Once we started to meet everyone working with the event, we felt very welcome and had a LOT of fun.

Craig loves riding! He is one of the friendliest people I have ever met.

It was a family event. So, riders of all ages were present.
This little guy’s day was not going as planned.

Love can be found even when you are not photographing weddings.

Here comes the rain!

It turned into a crazy wet-windy day! As you can see, the rain did not dampen Whitney and my spirits.

The professional riders, musicians, and Craig hung out and met everyone who was present. What a great bunch of people!
Stay tuned as we will be posting photos of Craig, taken for the magazine’s cover as well as images from the evening’s concert.
